Il talk introduttivo di questo Linux Day mira a presentare il mondo del Software Libero e le dinamiche che permettono a tale sistema di essere innovativo e altamente resiliente.

Verranno descritti gli strumenti che permettono al Software Libero di garantire e difendere legalmente i diritti sia degli utenti che degli sviluppatori, e verranno presentate le licenze, le distribuzioni e le comunità caratteristiche di questo mondo.

The introductive talk of this Linux Day will introduce the world of the Free Software ecosystem and the dynamics that allow this universe to be always innovative and highly resilient.

The talk will describe the tools that make possible for the Free Software to legally guarantee and defend the rights of both users and developers, and the licenses, the software distribution and the communities unique of this world will be presented.
